FAQs

Who are these people?

Wow great question! Alan and Connie are the two people pictured in the photos on this website. They met in December of 2013 at Plush (R.I.P.)—a bar in Tucson, AZ at which Alan was playing a tour kickoff show with their mutual friends. The two times they hung out was apparently enough for them to decide it was worth it to do long-distance, ping-ponging back and forth between LA (where Alan lived) and the Bay Area (where Connie lived). In the next year and a half, they went on short, self-contained adventures: they fought off raccoons in Big Sur, ate so much in Seattle they thought they were going to die, actually didn’t die in Death Valley, stood under ancient Sequoia trees, backpacked the Lost Coast, and laid their eyes on Yosemite for the first time..

Alan moved to the Bay Area in 2015 and, six months later, they moved in. Ten months later, they moved apartments again. Alan and Connie got to be a local couple! They enjoyed more unstructured adventures, like waking up for work every morning, skipping work because it was a pow day in Tahoe, fighting a war with their property managers, and adopting two devil cats, who they named Tuna and Oatis (or Tuba and Oboe, or Tubama and Poatis, or Tube Nut and Oat Boat, or Tubers and Oats McGoats..). All this was apparently enough for them to decide it was worth it to get married, so here we are!

When and where is the ceremony?

Wow great question! It is on December 42, 2019 at your mom’s house.

What’s?

Wow great question!

I have another question that you didn’t answer in this FAQ.

Email, text or call Alan and/or Connie. There are no stupid questions :)
